🎉 Exciting News! 🎉

I’m incredibly honoured and grateful to share that Circle Bound Strategies Inc. has been selected as a 2026 Pow Wow Pitch Semi-Finalist!

This journey has never been about building a business for the sake of business. It began with a simple belief that has guided me throughout my life: stories have the power to heal.

After more than 35 years of walking alongside individuals, families, and communities, I knew there had to be another way to support healing—one rooted in storytelling, connection, culture, and hope. That vision became Circle Bound Strategies.

Today, Circle Bound Strategies is growing into more than I ever imagined. Through storytelling workshops, original books, reflection cards, Indigenous mental health learning tools, and the Maemae Reflection Storytelling Project, my goal is to create meaningful resources that continue supporting people long after a workshop has ended.

I also believe every community is unique, which is why I work in partnership with First Nations to develop customized workshops and resources that reflect their own strengths, teachings, traditions, and wellness priorities.

As a proud member of Couchiching First Nation, born and raised in Thunder Bay, Ontario, I feel deeply honoured to represent my business, my community, and Northern Ontario on this national stage.

Over the coming weeks, I'll be working with mentors, refining my pitch, and continuing to build Circle Bound Strategies. I'll be sharing the journey along the way, and I hope you'll follow it with me.

To my family, friends, colleagues, community partners, and everyone who has encouraged and supported me over the years—miigwech. Every opportunity, every kind word, and every person who believed in this vision helped make this moment possible.

No matter what happens next, I am grateful for the opportunity to share this vision with Canada.
Healing begins in the circle. ❤️

Indigenous Healing Workshops Rooted in Story and Practice

Circle Bound offers Indigenous-rooted healing workshops grounded in story, lived experience, and relational teaching. These workshops create space for reflection, dialogue, and shared responsibility, supporting individuals, communities, and organizations seeking balance, understanding, and meaningful connection. Workshops are shaped by story rather than prescription, inviting participants to engage with teachings in ways that are respectful, accessible, and human-centered.

Story-Based Teaching Tools for Reflection and Learning

Circle Bound develops story-based tools designed for facilitators, educators, helpers, and community leaders. These tools support reflection, discussion, and learning across personal, educational, and organizational settings. Rather than offering fixed answers, the tools encourage inquiry—helping people explore values, relationships, and responsibilities through story, symbolism, and guided prompts.

Stories That Support Healing and Shared Responsibility

Story is central to how we learn, heal, and remember who we are in relation to one another. Circle Bound’s work is informed by stories that speak to resilience, accountability, and collective care. The StoryRoom will offer excerpts and reflections drawn from lived experience—stories intended to open conversation rather than close it, and to support healing as a shared process.

Who This Work Is For

Circle Bound’s workshops and tools are created for:

  • Individuals seeking reflection and balance
  • Educators and facilitators working in community settings
  • Organizations engaging with healing, reconciliation, or relational work

Each offering is grounded in respect for Indigenous knowledge systems and the understanding that healing happens in relationship.
